Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We can also accept orders by fax (02476) 601239 or by phone (02476) 593500 or e-mail info@coventryscale.co.uk
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax or over the Internet. Mistakes can be made and we reserve the right not to accept an order if the information has been entered into the web site incorrectly.
Shipping And Handling
We ship to mainland UK and now can also ship to Offshore UK including the channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands and the Republic of Ireland. Delivery Schedule All orders are sent by Fastway Courier service. Providing the item ordered is in stock we will endeavour to ship the same day so most items will be received the next working day.
Back Orders
We stock nearly all the items shown on the web site, but should the item be out of stock when ordered you will be advised immediately and told when delivery will be expected to be made. Tax Charges We add VAT at the current rate to all products we sell.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
All of our new products come with a 12 month manufacturer's guarantee (unless stated) This Guarantee does not effect Your Statutory rights. All second user products come with a 3 month guarantee unless stated.
Cash Register Guarantee
Please Note paper jams are not covered under guarantee as operator error, incorrectly sized till rolls or poor quality paper is always the cause of error. We recommend using the correct size paper rolls available from www.coventryscale.co.uk.
Weighing Scales
Please note that load cells are not covered under guarantee unless damaged during delivery. We are unable to cover load cells which have been overloaded or subjected to shock damage.
Privacy Policy
Coventry Scale Co does not disclose buyer's information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

Returns Policy
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase you may return the product unused with all manuals, attachments and original packaging, providing it has been paid for in full before despatch. It must arrive back with us within 7 days of delivery to you. Once inspected you have the option of an exchange, credit note or refund excluding intial carriage charge. Please note if after inspection if any of the above is incomplete or the product has been used we will not be able to offer an exchange/credit or refund and there may be additional carriage costs involved in returning the item to you. After 7days please contact us, as certain products we can accept the back after the 7 days but the item(s) will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. The cost of the return will be the customer's responsibility. All products must be unused with all manuals, attachments and original packaging. We reserve the right to charge up to a 30% re-stocking fee for items that have been sent out correctly by ourselves, but wish to be returned because of incompatibility with existing equipment or have been ordered in error. If you are not sure please phone us on 02476 593500 where we will be happy to help with checking compatibility. Any damage or incomplete or missing parts must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, we accept no liability after this period.
Remittance Terms
We accept all major credit and debit cards, payment can also be made cheque, cash or bacs payments. In certain cases we can also accept official purchase orders from PLC companies and Local Authorities.
