Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

Mistakes can be made and we reserve the right not to accept an order if the information has been entered into the web site incorrectly.

Shipping And Handling We ship to mainland UK and now can also ship to Offshore UK including the channel Islands, Isle of Man, Nothern Ireland, Scottish Islands and the Republic of Ireland. Delivery Schedule All orders are sent by Business Post Courier service.

Providing the item ordered is in stock we will endevor to ship the same day so most items will be recievied the next working day.

Back Orders
We stock nearly all the items shown on the web site, but should the item be out of stock when ordered you will be advised immediatly and told when delivery will be expected to be made. Tax Charges We add VAT at the current rate to all products we sell. Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee
All of our new products come with a 12 month manufacturers guarantee (unless stated) This Guarantee does not effect Your Statutory rights. All second user products come with a 3 month guarantee unless stated.

Cash Register Guarantee
Please Note paper jams are not covered under guarantee as operator error, incorrectly sized till rolls or poor quality paper is always the cause of error.� We recommend using the correct size paper rolls available from www.coventryscale.co.uk.

Weighing Scales
Please note that load cells are not covered under guarantee unless damaged during delivery.� We are unable to cover load cells which have been overloaded or subjected to shock damage.

Privacy Policy
Coventry Scale Co do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns Policy
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase you may return the product unused with all manuals,attachments and origional packaging, providing it has been paid for in full before despatch. It must arrive back with us within 7 days of delivery to yourselves. Once inspected you have the option of an exchange/ credit note or refund excluding intial carrage charge. Please note if after inspection if any of the above is incomplete or the product has been used we will not be able to offer a exchange/credit or refund and there may be additional carriage costs involved in returning the item to you. If you would like us to collect the item that is not required this can also be arranged at an additional cost of £25 +vat upto 10KG.

After 7days Please contact us, As certain products we can accept the back after the 7 days but the item(s) will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. The cost of the return will be the customers responsibility, But if you would like us to collect there will be an additional charge of £15 + VAT upto 10kg. All products must be unused with all manuals,attachments and origional packaging.

We reserve the right to charge up to a 30% re-stocking fee for items that have been sent out correctly by ourselves, but wish to be returned because of incompatability with exsisting equipment or has been ordered in error.

The cost of returning faulty or incompatable items to us is the responsability of the customer, However we can organise a reverse collection but there is a standard charge of £15.00 + VAT for parcels up to 10kg in weight, please contact us before retunring the product as we can advise on cost, methods of return..

Any damage or incomplete or missing parts must be reported within 24 hours of delivery,we accept no liability after this period.

Remittance Terms We accept all major credit and debit cards payment can also be made cheque, cash or bacs payments. In certain cases we can also accept offical purchase orders from PLC companies and Local Authorities.
