S Type load cells get their name from their S shape and provide an output if under tension or compression. Applications include tank level, hoppers, crane scales and truck scales. S Type cells provide superior side load rejection. This type of cell has two female threaded fixing points, top and bottom were eye bolts or thread rod ends can be attached.

The DEE-A alloy steel S type load cell is available in a wide range of capacities, from 50kg to 1000kg. This high accuracy S type is constructed from alloy steel with IP67 environmental protection. The DEE-A S type load cells can be used in tension or compression. The TSA can be used in many applications, crane scales, animal weighing scales, tank and silo weighing scales, railway scales, check weighing and food industry scales.
The TSA S type is also available in stainless steel and with IP68 class environmental protection.
